Can you commission an installation someone else put in?
Yes. Commissioning is sold on its own. I configure devices, parametrize the protocols and run end-to-end tests, whoever did the physical install.
What does acceptance testing actually cover?
Formal FAT or SAT against agreed criteria: every device communicates end to end, baselines are recorded and performance is validated before handover.
My system was set up but behaves oddly — can you help?
Yes. Re-commissioning is available standalone. I revisit the configuration, protocol parameters and communication path to get it back to a known-good state.
Do I get evidence the system passed?
Yes. You receive baseline measurements, performance validation and a documented acceptance test — proof the installation works, not just a verbal sign-off.
